Foreign/ Overseas Seats

The requirement of MDCAT does not apply to foreign or overseas Pakistani applicants. Foreign students and overseas or dual-nationality applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject, OR
  • Foreign MCAT, OR
  • UCAT with at least 50% marks in the prescribed subjects.

Candidates eligible under this category include:

  • Permanent foreign nationality holders
  • Dual nationality holders
  • Green Card / Iqama / Maple Card holders
  • Overseas Pakistanis

Applicants who have completed and passed HSSC (Pre-Medical) / Grade 12 or equivalent from inside or outside Pakistan are eligible to apply.

Non-Expatriates

Foreign Special Quota Seats

In accordance with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council guidelines, RMC may also admit non-expatriate applicants on Foreign Special Quota Seats. These admissions require approval from:

  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
  • Khyber Medical University (KMU)

as per the approved criteria.

Significance

Important Requirement

All candidates—Pakistani or foreign—who have completed their qualifications from a foreign education system must provide an IBCC Equivalence Certificate.
