Foreign/ Overseas Seats
The requirement of MDCAT does not apply to foreign or overseas Pakistani applicants. Foreign students and overseas or dual-nationality applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject, OR
- Foreign MCAT, OR
- UCAT with at least 50% marks in the prescribed subjects.
Candidates eligible under this category include:
- Permanent foreign nationality holders
- Dual nationality holders
- Green Card / Iqama / Maple Card holders
- Overseas Pakistanis
Applicants who have completed and passed HSSC (Pre-Medical) / Grade 12 or equivalent from inside or outside Pakistan are eligible to apply.
Foreign Special Quota Seats
In accordance with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council guidelines, RMC may also admit non-expatriate applicants on Foreign Special Quota Seats. These admissions require approval from:
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
- Khyber Medical University (KMU)
as per the approved criteria.
Significance
Important Requirement
All candidates—Pakistani or foreign—who have completed their qualifications from a foreign education system must provide an IBCC Equivalence Certificate.
